Here are the parliamentary seat results based on the November 11 elections, based on the official figures released by the Iraqi High Election Commission. Overall, Shia-led lists have secured at least 184 seats (56% of the total), followed by Sunni lists with 76 seats (23%), and Kurdish lists with 56 seats (17%).

The coalition led by current Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has come first with 46 seats, followed by the Sunni-led Taqaddum party and its allied groups with at least 33 seats. State of Law, led by former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki – another major Shia actor and al-Sudani’s main rival – has won 28 seats. The most interesting outcome, however, is the dramatic rise of the Sadiqum movement of Qais Khazali, leader of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq militia, which has won 27 seats.

Among the Kurdish parties, the KDP leads with 26 seats, in addition to five allied minority-quota seats. Meanwhile, the rival Kurdish group, the PUK, has won 17 seats, with two additional seats projected for its candidates running on Arab lists.
